On Microsoft word where do I go to get the automation of page numbers?

I want it to do it automatically. Each page having a number. Instead of me doing it manually. What part do I go under: file edit, view, insert etc. I would like to find a way to list each page with like page 1 page 2. Like a book. I am saying where do I go in Microsoft word to get that automated page numbering program?

Click on the 'Insert' menu and choose 'Page Numbers'. You will get a dialogue box where you can choose the 'Position' (top or bottom of page) and 'Alignment' (left, centre, right, inside or outside) of your page numbers.
