Well the smallest numbers would be the numbers closet to 0 or 1. The largest...... well since numbers can go on forever, take the last three furthest from 0 or 1. Hope that helps.

Percentile is a useful one. You can use it to calculate the top 20 or bottom 20 percent for example.
SMALL(A2:A7, 1)



SMALL(A2:A7, 2)



SMALL(A2:A7, 3)



LARGE(A2:A7,1)



LARGE(A2:A7,2)



LARGE(A2:A7,3)



Offcoursce A2:A7 is range, you will put your range



1 means smallest/largest



2 means second..so on
You can sort it using the alphabetical sorting, and it will sort the numbers for you.
MIN and MAX are the usual functions in the formula for this
