My microsoft WONT open?

i have a mac computer and up until tonight my microsoft has been working just fine

now i need it really bad to work on a school assignment and when i click on the button in the dock it bounces up and down a couple times then just stops and doesnt load

how can i get it too open

pleeease help, 1st person to give me an answer that WORKS gets 10 pointssss

If you really need to work on something, go to http://www.openoffice.org/ and download openoffice for Mac. Install it. That will open, edit, save (in Microsoft format do file-export Microsoft), and print the documents you need. That is a temporary fix. If you really want to fix Microsoft Office, I'll need more information about the problem.
