Generally speaking, there are not that many examples of corporate leaders taking over nations and then declaring themselves dictators. It's not good for public relations.

They already have the influence of the elected representatives through "campaign contributions".

I can't see how it would be much different. How many crap products has Microsoft put out that need patches, can be corrupted, or need constant babying to work?
