When I run Ad-Aware 2007 it wont go beyond this: microsoft .VC80.MFC_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_x-wwof75c32e\
It then freezes up and I have a hard time closing out of it. Why is that. Does this file belong on my pc or is it a virus??

According to the MSDN forums, VC80 is related to the Merge Modules in Visual Studios C++ redistributable package. Specifically to files that should have been installed by the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable.

So the first thought is you have a damaged or corrupt Visual Studios and AdAware is hanging up on it. Second possibility is if you don't have Visual Studio installed, something has corrupted your system and AdAware thinks you have a damaged Visual Studio.
