OK... microsoft office 2003... error or something?

ok... so i deleted my user account on my windows XP system, because i wanted a new account... i did it... and then one day i opened up word and now its always saying "please wait while it configures" or something... it told me the steps, and i guess it is telling mt to enter my regristration code... but i have LONG since thrown away the box.... what do i do? i have the FULL version of microsoft office 2003...



oh, and the odd thing is, i can still use my office stuff, but that message keeps popping up, and i dont want it to do that... please help!!

You did not have to delete your account in order to create a new account. You can also change the name and password of any existing account.



The key is attached to the sleeve that holds the Office 2003 disk. I have never seen one fall off. Did you throw away the disk too?



If you actually threw away $150 to $200 you are not very bright.



If the key is stored in your computer the following program will find it. If it does not, buy a new version of office, get OpenOffice(free), or try to get a replacement from Microsoft.
