I am, I admit, a flight simulation nerd. Having recently got the 747-200 add-on, I installed it on my PC. Full of pleased anticipation, I inserted the FS2004 disc and started the program. It told me that my copy of FSUIPC was incompatible with my version of FS2004. This hadn't happened before, so a bit of poking around on the Microsoft website revealed that there was, indeed, an updated version of FSUIPC. I downloaded it and attempted to install it. It wouldn't install. It told me that I could remove FS2004 completely and reinstall it. I removed it, and set about reinstalling it. About half an hour into the process, it told me that it had failed to remove something and was aborting the whole install, removing everything that had been installed so far, and I should start all over again. And it's now 2.25am.
So not only do I not have the add-on working, now I don't even have FS2004 anymore. What I want to know is, who should I have killed?
Does Microsoft just suck or what?free antivirus download
oops.
Does Microsoft just suck or what?internet security
ok here is what to do. check your computer for flight sim and addons and remove them all.
now download, install and run registry clean expert.
run the scanner and clean up utility several times until your system reports as clean.
