Damn microsoft?

How can it be legal to sell the 360 when the thing ***** up all the time. I just spent some money on the damn thing and now I get the red light of doom or whatever. Dammit next time i'm getting my console from nintendo. Anyway my question is what can I do about the red light thing. I mean it flashed last night but I played it an hour later and a little today and nothing. Should I go ahead and call microsoft?

Your right it shouldn't be legal to sell **** for that price. I agree with ya on the PS3 part. I would go ahead and call microsoft tell them your problems and go from there.

From what I understand, depending on how old it is, Microsoft will fix it. They know there is an issue and they are doing their best to make things right.

Funny thing is, I dont even own an Xbox. I have a PS3. Rock Solid. No issues.
My 360 "red lighted" about 20 times since i bought it, but nothing happened. just ignore it and restart when it happens.
Get some towels wrap it around your xbox 360 while your xbox is on. wait 30 mins or so, come back turn your xbox off then immediately turn back on.
Well I think if you have the warranty they will fix it for you. But you have to ship it to them. So yeah I'd call them and see what's going on because the red light usually leads to xbox 360 death.
wow. totally sucks. my brother went through the same thing. he said it was just a short or something somewhere. so he continued to play with the light on and nothing happened. good luck!
Yes call those *******, they get like a million calls a day about the same ****. If you send it to them you won't see it for a year.
